The Person, Not the Disease!
It appears that this wise statement made by Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, so many years ago has been forgotten by modern medicine! Instead of looking at the person and trying to understand WHY they have the bunch of symptoms that make up their diagnosis, we consume ourselves with LABELLING the disease and suppressing its symptoms, when we should clearly be looking for its root causes.

At the DaVinci Natural Health Centre we do things differently - we don't really care too much about the labels - if your diagnosis has not helped you to understand the causative factors behind your disease and how they developed, then it really does not matter what label you have used.

Holistic Medicine - Underlying Causes
The difference at the DaVinci Centre is that we do care about looking at the whole person and trying to understand why they have their diagnosed disease - is it because of viral, bacterial, fungal loads, Candidaisis and other yeasts and moulds, parasite and worm infestations, toxic metals including mercury, xenobiotics, food intolerances, electromagnetic and geopathic stress, mobile phone or X-ray stress, vaccination stress, spinal subluxations and abnormal body posture, pH of body tissues and organs, level of toxicity, the status of the organ systems and detoxification systems of the body, nutritional deficiencies, hidden inflammation in the body - all these factors and more are probably the reasons why you have the symptoms that your body is busy trying to shout about! We listen!

Do we simply ignore these causative factors and try to suppress the symptoms with drugs or natural remedies, to make the patient feel better? This may be welcome in the short-term as a temporary relief, but not in the long-term as the abovementioned stressors on the body will inevitably get heavier and heavier slowly 'crushing' the body and leading to more degeneration.
